Notification by App?

I have a question about the app. I use an iPhone 13 Pro. In the app I can set all the notifications. I also get them delivered via emails. But how do I activate the notifications from the app? I have set the iPhone to immediate delivery, with sound. But nothing is displayed and I don’t get any notifications, even though I have turned it on. Is there another hint to make it work?
